Prayer for the Feast of Pentecost

Oh, Most Holy Spouse, light of love, who proceeds from Father and Son, and from Son and Father to overshadow Mary, and the whole world; who abide in the Children of God; who ignite, and transform, and imbue life; without whom is there nothing made that is made; without whom is nothing loved that is loved; and without whom is nothing praised that is praised, I come to you with an overflow of joy. My heart sings with love, my soul abides in peace, my mind tracks patience, my hands reach out in kindness, my inner-most being resides in goodness, my lips speak gentleness, my vision rests on you in faithfulness, and my whole body embraces your self-control. Praise Your Name, Oh God, for you are the Creator and Muse of Love, Hope, Faith, Fellowship, Creativity, Truth, and Beauty.

As it did for Your Most Holy Spouse, Mary, may our love for You overflow, and pour out in all pursuits that are of You, so that we may abide in Your goodness for all of eternity. Amen.
