Prayer: The Desires of My Heart
If I am the pinnacle of your creation, then I am called to greatness from which I cannot escape. It is not my greatness – it is Yours. A glory only You can create.
You gave me life, You glorify me, and You fill me with grace. “I do, Oh Lord. Let it be done unto me. Unto me, Oh Lord, as you say.”
Am I called to write prayers to you? To praise you? To glorify you? I want to help others to come to you. How should I do this?
I want to mentor young women.
I want to bring them the resources they need to worship you with all their hearts and souls. To expand each moment with love of you.
Visually and audibly, I want to bring this. But my strength lies most of all in writing and smiling, and I feel you calling me to them. I am too easily distracted – I want to do things that are not my strengths and do not satisfy my heart.
My heart swells with the desire to pursue your call and live the life you want from me. Show me more of this life! Teach me to write for you! Teach me to smile for you! Teach me anything and everything that you want me to learn.
Dear Jesus, give me the grace to live Your will and fulfill these desires.
