Prayer for Authentically Masculine Marriages

God, my Father, as you call us into this new age of The Holy Spirit, dedicated to the Holy Spouses, Mother Mary and the Holy Spirit, I pray you to unite in marriage the souls, minds, and bodies of holy men and women. In particular, men who embody the deeply powerful gift of authentic masculinity.

For the fulfillment of this prayer, we ask you to imbue in us, your men, married and single alike, the virtues of masculinity. Form us in the seven general masculine virtues, encased in St. Joseph, of profound humility, active poverty, continual contemplation, love of truth, gift of labor, heroic patience, and defense of the innocent.

In addition to these, we ask you to reveal to each man the particular virtues you have called us to live out in our own lives, so that we, also, may participate in this standard of a new and deeper understanding of marriage.
